I first met Jeff and his wife Dawn by coincidence in 2007 while diving in Tulamben. There he tried to help me to fix my broken strobe. A year later, I had upgraded from a point-and-shoot camera to a new dSLR, I thought it would be a good idea to ask this nice and helpful guy about the underwater photo course he´s offering.

I must say, it was a wise decision doing this course!  With his profound knowledge of taking pictures underwater he helps his students to get a lot more out of the camera. While sitting in a lush green tropical garden, having a cold iced-tea I learnt loads of new things about underwater photography. The laid-back atmosphere is more like sitting together with old friends sharing the passion of diving and underwater photography, than working in a classroom.

The diving was just amazing. Jeff and Dawn took us to some special spots where we enjoyed unspoiled diving. While Dawn kept her eyes on spotting various creatures, I could easily improve my skills with Jeff´s support.

The time with Jeff and Dawn was great! So after travelling to Flores we decided to come back to Tulamben again to spend some more exciting diving with them. Jeff was keen on seeing the pictures I took meanwhile in Bali and Flores, so I got a nice feedback and some more tricks and techniques to improve further on.
