What's Hot: 10th March 2008: Komodo Live-Aboard. We have made arrangements with a live-aboard dive vessel to run seven night underwater photography dive trips in the Komodo National Park, during 2008. The boat has a maximum ten divers onboard, with divers split into two groups, so that underwater dive sites are uncrowded, giving maximum photo opportunities. The trips include personal photographic instruction from Jeff Mullins and evening workshops on digital editing and photo techniques. More-- 14th Feb 2008: Latest Magazine Feature. Jeff's has been contributing regular "Best of Bali" features to Sportdiving Magazine throughout 2007. The current issue (Feb-March 2008) features the Reef Gardeners of Pemuteran. More-- Underwater Housing Leak Detector: Jeff has designed and is now producing a Leak Detector for Underwater Camera & Video Housings. It senses any moisture inside the housing and alerts the photographer with a flashing Hi-Intensity LED next to the camera's LCD screen. Check out the website for details uwleakdetector.com (The unit is easily fitted by the end-user and can be shipped Worldwide). 15th Dec 2007: Wet Season. The wet season arrived a little late in Tulamben this year. Usually by late November or early December the first rains have fallen. But the first real rain of the season arrived in mid December. This was good news for divers as visibility had been excellent up until late in the month when heavy rains began falling every day. Our find of the month was a beautiful Yellow Clown Frogfish (below) at the Drop-Off. 30th Oct 2007: Brilliant Dive Conditions. This year's dry season has been very kind to us. From the beginning of September we have experienced a minimum 20 metre underwater visibility, along with calm seas. This has allowed us to visit some of the areas exposed dive sites and discover some new sites: Sponge Garden & the 'G' Spot are our favourites.	Digital Underwater Photography Courses: Would you like to learn how to better utilise all of the features of your own housed digital camera? Jeff Mullins conducts one-on-one underwater digital photo courses in Tulamben (on Bali's northeast coast) and surrounding areas. Starting at half day and up to two days, these courses are particularly suited to beginners & intermediate users.
