Today we found a colony of Donut Nudibranchs on one of the sandy slopes in Tulamben. These nudibranchs are aptly named, as they look like they have a line of donuts on their back! They live on hydroids, this one was busy laying eggs, while others nearby were mating.

Another NEW muck diving location. Our friends shared their new discovery with us. This site is east of Tulamben and lays at the mouth of a small river. On one dive we saw frogfish, seahorse, pipefish, pegasus sea moths and a beautiful juvenile batfish. We are calling the site 'Hidden River', as we've driven past it a hundred times and not even seen it!

Another one of our explorations around Tulamben has revealed what we are calling Octopus Bay, an easy shallow dive with both Mimic & Coconut Octopus, along with sea pens and nudibranchs. On some dives we have seen a cockatoo wasp fish and some long horn cowfish.
