Another one of our explorations around Tulamben has revealed what we are calling Octopus Bay, an easy shallow dive with both Mimic & Coconut Octopus, along with sea pens and nudibranchs. On some dives we have seen a cockatoo wasp fish and some long horn cowfish.

This year we spent some time during the seasonal calm weather in November, exploring west of Tulamben, and stumbled upon one of Bali's richest wide-angle scenic reefs. This reef is incredibly rich, with amazing soft coral bommies, gullies and ravines. The shallows have beautiful hard coral structures, and all surrounded by fish.

An algae bloom has hit the north coast of Bali, so for a few days we had reduced u/w visibility. But not to be deterred, we just start thinking smaller and look what we find!
The Tiniest Frogfish we have ever seen; and not one, but three on a single dive. Those aren't rocks under its chin either, they are grains of very fine sand! This frogfish's total length is around 10mm
