Komodo Live-Aboard - Guest Comments

Annika Persson - Norway

Before leaving for Komodo, I just knew the trip was going to be good. It was organised with photographers in mind and since I had joined a photo course with Jeff the year before as well as hearing a lot of good things about Komodo, I now had a perfect opportunity to go there.

I arrived in Bali a week before the Komodo trip, and spent a few days diving with the fantastic Mola Mola, as well as a few fabulous macro dives in Tulamben, Bali.
The start of my holiday could just not have been better. From here on, Jeff & Dawn organised the transfers, the luggage logistics, the flights and of course the arrangement with the boat too.

During the trip, which was very comfortable and spacious, we had many exciting dives, loads of food, and good service provided by the ever smiling and friendly staff.
Whenever you had a camera problem, Jeff was able to help you out as well as giving you tips and tricks in Photoshop in the evening, as long as you could keep your eyes open.

My really favourite dive was where we were surrounded by manta rays playing and feeding in the current. This dive can't be described, it has to be experienced!
The trip didn't turn out to be good, it was just brilliant!! Returning home, with loads of photos, divelogs, new friends and memories, I'm definitely sure that I'm going on this trip again.
