Komodo Live-Aboard  -  Guests Comments

Digant Desai (Diggy) - India

Ever since I learnt underwater photography, taught by Jeff Mullins, I have been diving all over the Far East and the Indian Archipelago extensively, trying to learn this most difficult art.
When I heard of a Komodo Live-Aboard Photo Trip arranged by Jeff Mullins and his lovely wife Dawn, I jumped in without any hesitation with the comfort of knowing that all who partake, will be a pampered lot. With personalized service and non-stop tutoring and photo tips throughout the stay. I must admit that the experience was overwhelming.
Right from the pick up at the airport, where Jeff personally came to greet you, to the end of the trip, it was non-stop action underwater and fun over water! The visit to see the komodo dragons was also an experience of a lifetime and planned to perfection.
The food was awesome, the cabins were great and the company was lovely. In fact Dawn and Jeff make sure that they have a cook that they have tried and tested (tasted) and try and ensure that the company is of like-minded people.
They make sure that the diving suits each guest's liking and there are no strict regimes. There is always a boat waiting at all given times if there is or are diver(s) below as there was no compromise on safety and the quality of diving.
Jeff even went to the extent of exploring new dive sites and “Boulders at Dawn” a new found site was a photographers paradise. All throughout there was the constant input of photo tips, guidance, and Photoshop sessions.
Whether an advanced or new underwater photographer or even if you are just a keen diver, Dawn and Jeff made me feel that wee bit extra special and more than comfortable. I recommend this Live-Aboard to all without hesitation.
