We explored three submerged ridges in a small bay. Discovering a very nice cleaning station complete with a dozen coral cod around some very healthy corals. A Pink Leaf Scorpion Fish sat watching over a large area covered in shrimps. Their sheer numbers were almost hard to believe, certainly a very healthy reef system. We also found some nice nudibranchs and on one ridge a field of algae where later in the season we will look further for halimeda ghost pipefish as this was a perfect habitat for them.
We spent a relaxing morning exploring a new dive site just a few kilometres north-west of Tulamben. Joining us was Tec Diving specialist Ben Walzinger of the Tec Room Bali
